Nickolaus King is a writer living in New Mexico. He is currently unpublished and uncelebrated, but is continually working away at different projects and trying to find the best places for them. Some places are in the hands of friends and loved ones, some are on this website here. Some may be in print one day, but until then, he’d like to offer this little sampler of his work to anyone willing to give it some time. He thanks you in advance, and hopes you enjoy it!
“Imagine Goodness” became an unofficial motto for my work about five years ago, for personal and general reasons. I think it’s what a lot of people, myself included, need dearly in a world dedicated to making us imagine all different forms of badness. That doesn’t mean it’s all squeaky clean and sanitary, nor that it must be gritty and dark. It means trying to trace and tell accurately the way that light and dark both are woven together throughout the whole story of creation, as it spins on toward its end.
